Since 2022 : Consultant in international management.    

        

Career started in 1982 in ELECMA, Electronic division of SNECMA, as design engineer and then as Head of Project of the calculator of the CFM 56-5, engine of the Airbus A320, in Binghamton, N.Y., USA, for CFM International.

 

End of 1986, he integrates THOMSON BRANDT ARMEMENT, THALES Group, as Programme Manager of a smart munition in an international team and then Head of Advanced Concepts in charge of international programmes.

 

In 1991, he is appointed Programme Director in VELIFER, a joint venture between THOMSON and MATRA DEFENSE.

 

In 1993, he joins MATRA DEFENSE as Function Head of “Embedded Software” and then Department Head of “Avionics & Ground Systems”, member of the Electronic Directorate Central Board as well as member of the Industrial Committee of the subsidiary MEL in charge of production.

 

With the foundation in 1998 of the French-UK company MATRA BAe DYNAMICS (MBD), he takes the role of Deputy Director of the Software Directorate.

Four years later, the merge of MBD, Aerospatiale Missile and a part of Alenia Marconi Systems (AMS) lead to the MBDA Group in which he takes a new responsibility as Electronic Equipment Engineering Director.

 

In 2005, he becomes Head of Knowledge Management and Innovation and Director of the Missile Systems University.

 

In 2007, he joins the Human Resources Directorate and, up to 2022, will take the role of Group Head of Learning, Development, Competencies and Employee Engagement.

Between 2003 and 2013, Laurent Camus has been Chairman of the AFTI, private entity managing 5 schools of apprenticeship.

 

He is a regular conference speaker in Leadership programmes for large international companies and for Universities and Business schools (Master 1 and international MBA).

 

He is graduated from SUPELEC and has completed this diploma with an advanced training on Programme Management, on Managing International Teams and an MBA HEC/CPA.
